An increasing number of people have been focusing on a vehicle’s fuel efficiency before they buy. While there are a variety of other aspects that will play a role in the choice, how much mileage a person gets with their car can make quite a significant impact on the decision. While many people might believe that the majority of vehicles will have roughly the same fuel efficiency, this isn’t the case. In contrast, there can be quite a significant difference between the majority of them.

Over the past few years, the majority of manufacturers have looked to improve this as much as possible. Despite this, there have been a few notable vehicles that have seen much more of an improvement than others. With the majority of trucks releasing their 2020 editions, there are a few in particular that offer much more mileage than others. As a result, they could be worth more of a consideration for drivers who place a significant amount of emphasis on fuel efficiency:

1. Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab
Depending on which trim level you purchase, the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab can offer decent fuel economy. Though this will vary significantly depending on the trim, you can expect anywhere between 16 miles per gallon and 21mpg, which is quite a drastic difference. As such, if you’re primarily focused on the mileage that you’ll get with a tank, then it could be worth purchasing one of the more high-end trims, if possible.

2. Ford F150 SuperCrew Cab
Similar to many other trucks on the market, the 2020 Ford F150 SuperCrew Cab’s fuel efficiency depends on which trim level you purchase. The majority of these should offer approximately 22mpg on the highway, although it’s the city mileage where you’ll see the difference. The lowest of these is 15mpg, although you can expect up to 17mpg, so there isn’t too large of a difference on show.

3. Ram 1500 Crew Cab
The 2020 Ram 1500 Crew Cab offers some of the best fuel efficiency on the truck market, though this will differ slightly depending on the trim level. However, you should expect a minimum of 15mpg in the city, with this going all the way up to 22mpg at its highest. Alongside this, you should get at least 21mpg on the highway, up to a maximum of 32, which is quite impressive.

4. Ford Ranger SuperCab
The Ford Ranger SuperCab has been well-known for its fuel consumption over the past several years, with much of this being positive. As such, it can be one of the better-recommended options for many drivers. According to some reports, the truck offers 21mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway. As a result, it should offer a combined 23mpg, which outperforms many other trucks in its niche. Considering the size of the vehicle, this can be quite a notable benefit.

By choosing any of the above trucks, you should be able to get a significant amount of fuel efficiency. As a result, the majority of drivers should expect to see a large amount of savings in the long-term. While this shouldn’t be your only focus when choosing a new truck, it can be a relatively large factor in your decision. Each of the above can also offer a variety of other benefits. Depending on what you emphasize when buying a new vehicle, one of them could stand out much more than the rest. As such, their mileage will be one factor in many when making the choice of which 2020 truck to buy.
